These are probably the easiest anti-aging foods to eat as you can essentially have them with anything or even on their own. I’m a big fan of sesame oil, however many people claim that walnut oil offers a very distinctive flavour to any meal.

So in conclusion, though occasionally like everybody else I find myself eating some new and exotic anti-aging foods just because I heard about them on TV, these four foods are consistently mentioned by most experts as being worth your while. I suppose there just isn’t very much money in books about anti-aging foods that everybody already knows about.

Anti-Aging Supplements: Helping Mice Stay Younger

One of the most terrifying aspects of the apparent evidence that anti-aging supplements actually work is the subjects that are used in the gathering of it. The most difficult aspect of testing anti-aging supplements is relatively easy to understand. After one year, they then simply check what mice show a decrease in physical activity levels; as such a voluntary decrease in physical activity is generally a primary characteristic of aging. An anti-aging supplement is considered to be a successful drug and one that is well worth a healthy mark up should it turn out that the twenty mice that are taking it are far more physically active than the twenty that were not. Now, I can’t help but feel a little worried that this is not sufficient evidence to dictate my shopping habits. This is without even considering the fact that neither the relationship status of each mouse at the time of testing, nor the amount of success or stress that each mouse has had over the year are taken into account.

When the question about whether mice are suitable test subjects or not is raised, many balk and point to the fact that leading cancer researchers are using mice as their test subjects. Surely this must mean that they are similar enough to humans to be reasonable test subjects for the far less serious study of the effectiveness of anti-aging supplements. And yes they are indeed used in cancer research, a fact well known due to a quote made by the famous cancer researcher Mr Judah Folkman who remarked that “if you have cancer and you are a mouse, we can take good care of you”. Sadly however that quote not only proves that mice are used in cancer research but also their inadequacy at doing so, considering that that famous quote was now made over twelve years ago.
